Self assessment and inspection are key drivers for continuous improvement. Many government agencies and local authorities now include self assessment as a key element of quality assurance activity.
W2W Solutions have extensive experience and a proven track record at undertaking and supporting effective self assessment, including against Ofsted's Common Inspection Framework, producing robust and accurate self assessment reports and developing quality improvement plans. Our self assessment service will provide true and realistic representation of your current delivery, and can include the following activities:
- planning the structure for your self assessment process and report
- running interactive workshops to gather opinions and produce preliminary judgements, including with staff and subcontractors
- undertaking focus groups/surveys of customers and other stakeholders
- auditing delivery to validate judgements and gather additional background information by visiting key delivery sites and evaluating different aspects of service delivery
- drafting a professional, detailed and accurate report which meets commissioner requirements
- providing recommendations for actions that support continuous improvement planning
- supporting production of quality improvement plans based on self assessment findings
We can provide as much or as little support as you require, from taking on the whole process, to providing a Critical Friend service using your own internally produced self assessment. The service can be provided as a stand-alone activity or alongside a quality health check or other service.
